Ready to Roll...

Friday we had a school roller skating party and we had fun(yes, I even got on some skates). I met some other parents in our school and we are planning a play date for our kids. The kids and I really enjoy our school. That doesn't mean we don't have some struggles, but for every struggle there is 100 blessings. I love watching the light go on when they get something, it is like watching them walk all over again. And believe it or not(for those who thought I knew it all...)I am learning stuff also, and I love to learn. If you have ever felt that you weren't progressing, just go back to school with your kids.

Fishing

After soccer yesterday we took the kids fishing. It was supposed to be a scout fishing derby, but the whole family was invited to join. The boys were mostly having fun just exploring and the girls just hung out and got some sun. Cody took a little rest and I read one of my books (Remembering Wholeness by Carol Tuttle). It is an excellent book, you should check it out! After fishing we went out to eat at the Panda Buffet before starting our fast. Then last night Cody took the boys to a football game at CSU-Pueblo they are the Thunderwolves, and they won. The boys had a lot of fun. The girls and I rented movies and hung out at home.

Where are the girls?

Well, lets just say one of them was having an off day so we weren't able to get pictures of their first day, but we will next week. This year we told Nikki she had to play as part of her P.E. for school. She was less than thrilled until yesterday when she had a lot of fun. Even though she got a ball in the face, she stayed in the game and showed that she is a hard one to bring down. We believe that Jess had fun, but we won't know until she has had some sleep. She has dance on Friday nights and dances for 3+ hours, which we know is her passion. As for The Coach, he had a lot of fun! He enjoys spending time with the kids and coaching gives him a reason to yell at them without feeling guilty. (lol)

Eli and Friends

For Eli's soccer team, he is with his two best buddies(Garrett on the left and Trevor on the right of Eli). We call them the three amigos. They played t-ball together this spring and now they are together with soccer. Eli is a real go-getter when it comes to sports and we enjoy watching him take his energy to the field.

Soccer Season

We are just starting soccer season. All the kids got signed up to play and Cody signed up to coach 2 of their teams(the girls team and Luke's). We had our first games yesterday and it was fun. This is Luke's first year and he is stoked!! He says his favorite part is that he can run fast.

A Sad Day

Well, we just told you all about our new baby goat and how excited we were. He grew sick and very weak (he couldn't even stand on his own) this weekend and passed away to goat heaven today. There were tears shed, but we know that at least he left us knowing he was loved and that we did all we could do to help him. Bucky, you will be missed!
