The 4th of July

So after picking up Jessica from dance camp at BYU and spending some time with friends and going to Seven Peaks, we made the trek to Idaho to go visit with Grandma and Grandpa Fowler for the 4th. We rode on the motorcycle and four-wheeler which was by far Caleb's highlight, we also ran the Soda Springs 5K as a family(Caleb came later with Grandma)which was a challenge but fun. We then watched the Soda Springs parade and got lots of candy, went to the family games after the parade and then back to the house to rest before going to see the fireworks in Lava Hot Springs. The fireworks like always were fun to watch, but so was the fire they started on the side of the mountain with the fireworks(on accident).

More summer fun!

Cody got to go to Texas for work and get a ride in one of the fast planes where you hit G forces. That just made his summer!
Eli earned a week of camp at Camp Jackson by working hard in school. His teacher gave him a "Personal Best" award. Each teacher does this at the end of the year and then they draw from those names, 2 students to win a week at Camp Jackson...and Eli's name got drawn. He absolutely loved going! They camped under the stars one night, in cabins the rest of the time and at the end everyone gets a special award and he got one for the boy who loved playing in the dirt. Need I say more?
This was a stop on the way to Utah this summer.
Cody and the boys climbed the "Y" and had a lot of fun.

Luke's Baptism

This was such a special day for Luke. Not only was it his baptism day, it was his 8th birthday. June 11th. We had many families from church as well as Grammy and Baumpa Moon, Aunt Jaycine, Uncle Colin and cousins come. After the baptism we went home for a bit and then out to eat a Texas Roadhouse...yummm!

Summer Camps

Eli earned the "Most Outstanding Jr. Wrestler"
Nikki earned a special small volleyball from her coach (only a select few from the camp earned them)and told her to keep it up, she has a lot of promise as a player. He could even see her as an "all-star" player someday.
They didn't hand out awards at dance camp. If they would of, I believe Jessica's would have been the self confidence and strength she gained from attending. Their final performance of what they learned was just amazing.
