Eli's Birthday

For Eli's birthday this year he got to invite some friends swimming and then back to the house for cake and ice cream. Then he had his birthday with just family where he got his first bb gun, but he was so tired by the end of the day he just ended in a heap of tears. Happy Birthday Eli, we love you even if your cake isn't the way you imagined it. Nikki made his cake.

I'm Back

So I haven't posted in over a year. I could fill you in all the reasons why, but I will just say that it just comes down to prioritizing. I would love to be perfect in time management, but that is not my strength. I will post a few pictures of over the past year to catch you up, and then I will tell you what is going on currently.

Wrestling Champion

Eli went to his first wrestling tournament on Saturday the 27th of Feb. in Calhan, Co. And being the great athlete he is he took 1st place! Great job my Eli!

Happy Half Birthday!

Today my boy is 6 months old. I can't believe how time flies. He is doing so much, most importantly he makes us smile and laugh. Here is to our cuteness! Just a little story behind the pot. Jessica was going to take it back downstairs for me when we noticed that Caleb just might fit. So we put him in and it was so cute we couldn't pass up our good photo opp. I don't think he was too happy about it, but he was a good sport.

My Boys

Here is my handsome Caleb. He is one week shy of being 6 months old. He has grown so much and can now do so many things. He has been sitting on his own since he was 4 months old, and he loves to eat cheerios, green beans, squash, bananas, rice cereal, crackers, and anything else he can get his hands on. And as you can tell, he is also drooly. Yes, he is teething and some days it makes him down right miserable. But he is happy most of the time. He absolutely loves to play with his brothers(which make him laugh more than anyone else) and sisters. He thinks the keyboard it the best toy in the world, we found him an old one of ours but he still likes the one we type on better. We will get to finalize our adoption in a couple of weeks and are so excited, we really can't imagine our lives without him. He brings us so much joy!


Okay, so Cody goes to work and one of the guys decides they should grow mustaches. Cody is for it, and I thought it was a fun idea for them. The rule was that they had to grow it for the whole time they had a class(like 4-5 weeks). Little did I know that I would dream of the day he could shave. Because I was a good sport, he let me shave it off. Now I have my man back! I hope they decided it was a bad idea and don't do it again!!

Eli made honor roll for 1st semester of school. We are proud of him, we know that he has a lot of talent and has been blessed for school to come easy. Good job!
